As one of my final year university projects, I chose to redesign the book cover of Daisy Jones & The Six for the Penguin Cover Design Award, This project aims to solve the problem of the outdated and lacking previous book covers of Daisy Jones and The Six, making sure to follow Penguin’s brief requirements and create a new book cover that answers what the judges are looking for. I incorporated a 70s colour scheme, kaleidoscope pattern and illustrations with hand drawn type to create a book cover I felt was representational of Daisy Jones and her story.
