This is a personal project dedicated to my late grandfather about 'the memory game' we used to play as a family at Christmas time. The poem was written by my cousin Heather Denbigh.
I combined collage and illustration to create a physical poem book to remember and honour our grandfather's joyful and fun-loving spirit.
I also played with type to guide the reader's eye and reflect the emotions attached to the words.
I printed this on 170gsm off-white paper and then hand-bound it using a red thread in a saddle stitch.
